この度、手拭いの取扱を開始致しました。
ヴィンテージデニム、ロックtシャツ、そして自転車等々、モノ収集する人生でしたが、バンダナもそのうちの一つでした。
近年、特に状態の良い大判サイズのバンダナを見つけるのが難しくなっています。そこで愛用するようになったのがスゲーテキスタイル様の手拭いです。日本の伝統的な注染技法を用いて染められるパターンは、ヴィンテージバンダナのまさにそれです。
サイズ自体は一般的な手拭いサイズですので、様々な用途にお使いいただけます。そして耐久性にも優れ、実用品として毎日お使いいただます。
染色による綿織物であるデニムのように、褪色による表情の変化や綿の繊維が解れて柔らかくなる経年変化をお楽しみ下さい。
We have a chance to sell the gears we use daily. Here we have the Japanese bandana called Tenugui.
I used to be a collector of vintage denims, rock jerseys and bikes. Vintage bandana is one of them. It is getting harder to find a decent vintage one in large size or oversize. Then, these bandana tenugui is now my choice. It is not a bandana.
It is a tenugui with the bandana prints on. You can use it everyday and enjoy its fading and the cotton fabric softened as they are all cotton and hand-dyed with traditional method.
