Bandana Tenugui with care

Bandana Tenugui with care

As a cyclist, summer is a season of sweat and sun burn.  It is even a struggle for existence ruled by survival of the fittest as it gets extremely hot these years.

This Tenugui is great for sweating summer. It is long enough to rub your body. What I would do is wraping an ice pack with Tenugui and wear around my neck like a scarf. This keeps you cool while on bike.

And you can just wash and put it in the dryer or airdry it under the sun.  After a few laundries, the fabric gets softened and the edge should get frayed or fuzzy because it is not trimmed like bandana.  What should we do here?  Do not try to pull the fuzzy threads but just cut with scissors. That is the initial care for tenugui. And enjoy it aging.
